As a senior advisor, Sonya has worked with many leading companies and brands including The Wonderful Company, (producer of Wonderful Pistachios & Almonds, Wonderful Citrus, POM Wonderful, Fiji Water, Teleflora, Justin Wineries and Landmark Wines), the California Milk Advisory Board (got milk?), leading kombucha brand GT's Living Foods, interactive entertainment pioneers Sony, Disney Interactive and Pioneer Electronics, ergonomic product developer obVus Solutions, the Pilates Wheel, Kinecta Federal Credit Union, and more. She also serves as a guest PR speaker, educating audiences on the value of public relations and branding.

At The Wonderful Company, Sonya led global communications for Wonderful Pistachios throughout North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America, overseeing health and science communications, media relations, corporate events, influencer partnerships, and social media programs, establishing Wonderful Pistachios as a leading category snack brand worldwide.
As Vice President at The Bohle Company, a public relations agency specializing in start-ups, Sonya learned the business of start-ups working with Active.com, Virgin Mega, How2TV and others. Prior to that, Sonya was an integral part of the communications team that launched the Disney Interactive Entertainment division, receiving multiple industry awards for her efforts, while also managing the opening of Sega GameWork’s attractions throughout Los Angeles, and leading account responsibiltiies for clients Pioneer Electronics and Salon.com.
At global multionational Hill & Knowlton, Sonya dove into interactive entertainment while serving as account lead for video game publisher and X-box developer Sony, and supported the hugely successful California Avocado Commission campaign, highlighted in The Atlantic’s article “The Selling of the Avocado.”
